About PIK-Ma

            PIK-Ma is an activity of PKBR (Family Marriage for Youth Workers) program activities organized from, by and for adolescents to provide information services and reproductive health counseling and family preparation. PIK-Ma appears in the background of a stage or transition period of physical and psychological development among adolescents. The most dominant physical change is the development of reproductive organs not experienced in childhood. These changes often cause confusion, problems, and questions for every teenager who experiences them. This happens because of the lack of adolescent knowledge of the changes they are experiencing. This condition is because during this time the majority of parents do not provide adolescent knowledge of the changes they are experiencing. This condition is because during this time the majority of parents do not provide a lot of knowledge to their children who step on teenagers. This state of affairs arises because of the limited knowledge of parents on adolescent reproductive problems and the presumption of sex education is still taboo discussed for most people. While we see the reality today many teenagers who have had sex without thinking about the impact on his future.

The Purposes of PIK-Ma is :

• Provide information on adolescents reproductive health.
• Adolescents reproductive health counseling and referral service.
• Develop activities that are typical according to the interests and needs of adolescents
• Creat adolescents who are well behave and protect from the risk of free sex, HIV / AIDS, Drugs.
• Achieve quality generation.

The Membership Requirements

The requirements to be the member of PIK-Ma are easy enough :

·   Teens / college students who have a high commitment or concern to the problems of teenagers / college students

·   Teens / college students interested in disseminating information about the GenRe program

·    Having personality (exemplary, courteous, friendly, unselfish, not arrogant, fluent in communicating, flexible in social, initiative and creative, not irritable, open to new things, willing to learn and help).

·   Well-behaved teenagers, meaning never to be involved in criminality, not dealers and users of drugs, physically and mentally healthy.

Benefits of PIK-Ma is creating a teen counselor, peer counselors so as to provide counseling teenagers or students with problems so that the information by them is the right information.
